How to get started with PrePark

Obtain the right approvals
Check the authority of the school, trustees, site owner or managing body. Review safeguarding, insurance, planning, access and local conditions before offering parking.

Identify safe parking capacity
Specify which spaces can be used, the maximum vehicle size, entry and exit routes and times that will not disrupt site activities.

Control dates and price
Make spaces available only for selected events or weekends and set your own advertised parking price.

PrePark reviews the listing; authorised hosts receive requests and manage the booking calendar and connected Stripe payouts.
Frequently asked questions
Can a school rent out its car park?
It may be possible if the organisation has the authority and required consents. The school must assess its own site rules, safeguarding, access and insurance arrangements first.
Could a church offer parking for local football matches?
Yes, where it has the legal right to do so and can manage parking without disrupting services, neighbours or other site users.
Does PrePark take a share of the community group's price?
No host commission applies. Hosts keep the advertised parking price and PrePark charges drivers a separate platform fee.
Can we restrict availability to a few days each month?
Yes. The host calendar can block dates and offer spaces only when available. Existing confirmed bookings must be honoured.
