Parking near Anfield on matchdays: what to check
By PrePark ยท Published 20 October 2026
Before driving to Anfield, check Liverpool FC's official travel information, event-day road restrictions, your walking route and whether any parking offer is actually confirmed.
Parking in Anfield isn't live yet
We're opening this market soon. If you have a space nearby, you can list it now and be ready on day one.
Anfield is a busy football destination on matchdays. That does not mean every nearby street or private driveway is available for visitor parking. Local restrictions and event operations can change, so start with official travel advice rather than a generic parking map.
Start with Liverpool FC's official guidance
Liverpool FC maintains an Anfield visitor and getting-there information hub. Review the details for your actual event, including stadium access, accessibility, arrival guidance and any event-specific notices.
Driving may not be the most practical choice for every visitor. Compare the transport options described by the club and relevant local operators before committing to a parking location.
If you choose to drive
A suitable parking space should have a confirmed right of use, a clear route into the site and enough room for your vehicle. Review arrival and exit times, gates and barriers, and whether the space is likely to remain accessible while spectators are leaving.
Do not assume a space is permitted simply because it appears empty. Look for resident restrictions, matchday controls, temporary signs and the rights of existing occupants. Avoid blocking dropped kerbs, driveways or emergency routes.
Walking to the stadium
Use a realistic pedestrian route, not a straight-line distance on a map. Event-day diversions, crowds, crossings, gradients and different entrance gates can affect your journey. If you need an accessible parking or drop-off arrangement, check directly with the event or venue operator before travelling.
Can you book a private space?
Where a verified PrePark host has made a space available, a driver can view the host's details and request a booking. A request should not be treated as confirmed until the booking flow has been completed. PrePark does not promise parking availability near Anfield, and this informational page is not a car-park operator or an official Liverpool FC service.
You can search for parking and use the Liverpool event parking guide to plan alternatives.
For local homeowners and businesses
A vacant driveway or suitable private car park may be worth listing for selected event days, subject to legal authority, insurance and local restrictions. PrePark allows hosts to set their own price and availability and does not take host commission. Actual parking demand is not guaranteed.
